This is another young and trendy restaurant where you can eat a three course meal for €11.80! . The restaurant 25 Est is situated in the 19th district at Villette area (Metro Jaurés or Stalingrad) set in the old harbour originally used for cargo vessels bringing their goods to one of the old main Paris dock yards. Guide Me In Paris promised to share some of the secrets of Paris with you, well this is definitely one of them. Eating cheaply in Paris is possible, but it’s rarely French cuisine it’s usually Chinese, Indian Vietnamese etc. Chez Chartier 7 Rue du Faubourg Monmartre 75009 (Metro Grands Boulevards) is not only an amazing building, it is cheap and so French, it gives you a feel of France back to the 30′s with that amazing bistro feel about it, and the rather stern waiters who have never heard of customer care!,but at the same time give it a real touch of authenticity. The smallest street in Paris is called ‘Rue du Chat-qui-Pêche‘ (The Fishing Cat!) which is 29 metres long and 2.50 metres wide. It was opened to the public in 1540 and was originally called ‘Rue des Etuves’ and then shortly after renamed ‘Rue du Renard’. 51 Rue de Montmorency 75003 (Metro Etienne Marcel) is the oldest house in Paris dating back to 1407. Built by Nicolas Flamel who worked at the University of Paris and built the house for local farm workers. Now the house is a very nice auberge serving a three course meal for €25 including drinks and coffee!!. You should definitely check this out!
