This great restaurant first opened it’s doors in 1946, it was built next to the biggest food market in France and therefor served good cheap meals 24 hours a day. Le Pied de Cochon is still open all day but unfortunately the food market has long gone. It still has managed to keep it’s excellent reputation. The waiters are smart and friendly as this is a typical French restaurant where food is a serious business!.
I really like eating here, as you will find all your favourite French dishes ie French onion soup or seafood platter, oysters or any dish that comes from a Pig including their world famous Pig’s trotter. The restaurant is easy to find next to the famous St Eustache Church. The address is 6 rue Coquillière 75001 (Metro Chatelet).
The average price for per person is € 30 for lunch and € 60 with wine, not cheap, but well worth a visit. I have included the link (see below) the only problem is that it’s in French!.
